Phillip Mobin, Co-Founder & CTO
Phillip put the phone "jack" in jaxtr! For the past 20 years, he has been building successful telecom service companies. Phillip has a passion for bringing better and more accessible telephone services to the masses. His first company automated the collect call by eliminating the live operator, saving users millions of dollars. Phillip's second company caused the downtrend spiral in international calling prices in the early 90's by way of international callback, a key driver of why telephone calling today is much cheaper than 20 years ago. Many of Phillip's creations are the cornerstones of the Telecom Act of 1996. These innovative and often disruptive services built the ramp to the free competitive telecom market in the U.S. and the world over. Phillip majored in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering at MIT.
